Beautiful pics. It has been in the upper 40s and lower 50s for the last 3 weeks in Flathead Valley and the snow in the valley is almost gone. Of course there's still loads of it up on the higher Rocky Mountains around us where the altitude keeps the temperatures much colder.

Pretty pics. They remind me of the time we rode behind a team of sled dogs outside Skagway on one of our visits to Alaska. :o)

How far are you from the Canadian border?

I found Togo, MN on the map and it's a little further south than Kalispell, MT. The latitude for Kalispell is 48.2 degrees N. The latitude for Togo, MN is 47.8 degrees N. Not a lot of difference.

Actually Kalispell, MT is further north than Orrock Township, MN. We are only about 60 miles from the Canadian border. But you are definitely further east than either Mountain Peeps or I am.

Thanks, and you have some great pics yourself. I love the one of the snow blowing over the shed. :o)

Weather can do weird things with regard to location. When my wife and I drove back home from Wal-Mart in Kalispell yesterday evening, the snow was coming down in flurries. We had to drive slow due to the poor visibility.

We had more snow again last night. The snow hills are really starting to pile up here. I took these photos about 15 minutes ago.

I haven't looked at any numbers for Marion, but based on the amount of snow that is on the ground at our place that sounds about right for Marion.

She said 2 feet overnight, but since I haven't been to Marion today I don't know whether they actually had that or not, but you may be right about that about the two feet on the ground. That's about the depth of the snow on our property right now.

The weather has been really strange and sporadic here. We got 3-4 inches of snow overnight and into the early morning. A lady we met this afternoon who lives in Marion told us they got 2 feet of snow overnight and she said her relatives in Whitefish didn't get any snow last night. Really crazy, huh?

It cleared off for a while here today, but now the snow is coming down again.

I haven't seen any official numbers but I'm thinking about 4 inches. I was out late this morning clearing off our driveway with the snow blower.

You're welcome. We had more snow dumped on us here in NW Montana last night and this morning.

Beautiful pics. Based on what I've seen in the news, Colorado is really getting loads of snow.
