How long has it been since she laid do you know? But with her having whatever this is for over 4 months now, this is most likely why she isn't laying.

Just my humble opinion but if your duck was egg bound it would be dead long before 4 months was up. If they are egg bound and can't lay an egg it will not take them long to die. Unless intervention. IS your duck laying?

Since we don't know what she has going on I can't really say if giving her Baytril would help. But I sure couldn't watch my duck like this for 4 months without trying something if I couldn't get vet help. It will have to be up to you if you want to treat her.

Sounds like a cough and then when she lays down she is struggling to breathe. Do you have plans to try and get help for her?
