    They are good @Eggcessive I've not had to deal with stitches but Keeping them dry sounds much better than moist or wet. @AngelinaThePekin8 If you happen to have a dog X pen they work great for keeping one where you want them and gives them some extra exercise and maybe then bring her in a buddy...

    Try some moistened feed my flock loves it so hopefully she’ll be able to eat it. If you could keep her in away from flies this would be best so you don’t end up with maggots in the wound.

    Just be spray on it since you have the feathers clipped it should be easy to treat. They heal so fast hopefully in a few days she’ll be good as new. It will still be healing but shouldn’t be leaking. Main thing is watch for infection. Don’t use hydrogen peroxide again.

    I believe I'd clip the feathers away from the wound so none get stuck inside while it heals. and use the Veterycin. Wait till tomorrow before feeding just keep water she'll probably just sip on it.

    I'm sorry this has happened to your duck. Sounds like she may have stabbed herself on something even a stick poking into her could cause this. Follow Eggcessives info. One thing that is bothering me though is you say they are free ranging 24/7 how do you do this without predators carrying them...
