One of my four week old free range ducklings has a hole in her crop and foods coming out of it. I don't really know what to do I just noticed it today it seems fresh and it doesn't have blood or any signs of infection. I will get some photos of it as soon as possible.

I have the duckling separated right now so she won't get injured more

Chickens can recovered from punctured crop if it closes up within days. I would use some saline, chlorhexidene, or Vetericyn to clean the wound. Eventually a small wound should heal. Pictures are helpful. I would try feeding some mushy chicken feed and egg. A dog crate with food and water can be a good place to separate. Do you know if she pictured it on something around the coop or run, or if there always a predator or flock attack?

We got her neck cleaned up as best we could with some water we used a cup and some paper towels.
She's in the house now and has been pooping and is alert and pretty much herself. Not very much food if any is coming out right now, and she's had a little bit of water to drink as well.

She's preening too I feel like her whole digestive tract was making a significant amount of noise when she drank the water earlier Im not leaving any in with her right now.

There free range 24/7 right now so anything could've happened, Im thinking a guinea fowl or a chicken might have done it possibly even another duck or duckling.

I noticed it early this morning when i was cleaning their water containers out, she was under the coop when the others were out and about playing in the water which was strange to me. Im glad i picked her up and checked on her. She did eat this morning and was drinking and playing a little bit before I noticed it.

This is some of the stuff i have for the ducks first aid the alcohol wipes arent part of it but I've heard it can be used potentially for Tiny' s crop.

I'm sorry this has happened to your duck. Sounds like she may have stabbed herself on something even a stick poking into her could cause this. Follow Eggcessives info.

One thing that is bothering me though is you say they are free ranging 24/7 how do you do this without predators carrying them off?

Is it hot there? I would leave water with her. The thickened feed mixed with water or some egg might not come out as easily. I will tag some duck people for more advice:
@Miss Lydia and @isaac o for more advice
It's been pretty hot the last few days but my bedroom is pretty cool and my window is open for fresh air.
I will put some water in with her, in the morning I always make sure the pellets and crumbles for the ducklings and the adults are wet so they don't chough from the dust.

I don't know if I should really feed her until we get her closed up? We were gonna try using super glue to close up the wound but Im not sure if it's needed or a good idea either.
