Agree here. It causes oxidation and destroys healthy tissue- healthy cells that promote the fibrin matrix of scar formation at the wound edges and the base of the wound are destroyed.Don’t use hydrogen peroxide again.

IDK yet, when I feed the rest of the flock out side I will bring some moistened feed to her. I'm just not sure if any food leaking out would be really bad for her. Will she eat some moistened feed? Egg might be good as well. I would let the wound scab over once nothing is leaking out.
Yep, I've been hearing about that, a lot of things were kind of saying to use it so I thought barely any hydrogen peroxide once might be okay to help clean the area and I don't know if it even got near it.Agree here. I use Veterycin on most anything even myself lolYep, I've been hearing about that, a lot of things were kind of saying to use it so I thought barely any hydrogen peroxide once might be okay to help clean the area and I don't know if it even got near it.
Should I try using iodine on it though or should the vetricyn plus be enough?
I always try to give them wet feed no matter the age or species so no one's choking or coughing on dry dusty crumbles or pellets. Thanks for the help givenTry some moistened feed my flock loves it so hopefully she’ll be able to eat it.
That's partially why she's in the house my room hardly has flys in it generally so hopefully she'll be safe from em.If you could keep her in away from flies this would be best so you don’t end up with maggots in the wound.
Lol, I mostly have it for my Pekin who has bumble foot that I am working on treating I've not used it on her yet or anyone until last night with Tiny.I use Veterycin on most anything even myself lol
