The search index was reset and it takes a long time for it to rebuild and gather all the data from over 3 million posts. We've also had some problems with the search feature that are making the process take longer than usual. So, for right now search only lets you go back about a month.

We're in the process of rebuilding the search index and tweaking the search settings. Thanks for your patience as we work though the problems.
