I have refused to use IE for over 6 years. Even still, it has too many back doors, and other security concerns. My guess is that Edge (Win10) was built because IE was too much trouble to "fix",
I have used FireFox and been happy as a clam at high tide...until they got into a war with Adobe over...
Here's a funny one for you.
I just got onto Photobucket. First thing I see is a banner in the right sidebar that says, "We see you are using AdBlock. Please consider upgrading to our Ad-Free Premium Service."
I wonder how many of the thousands of websites out there have actually reviewed those "strict guidelines" referenced to give their customers/clients/members an enjoyable experience on their websites?

And strangely enough, with some really rabid fans, or philanthropists often the donations are more than a subscription would be. Win-win for everyone. Subscriptions are usually kept down to where (supposedly) anyone can afford them. Donations have no limit.

Hysterical! The flash blocker says, "Continue blocking?", I say "yes" and the stupid video is still running in the lower portion of the sidebar. Stupid computers....
So whatever is allowing that video ad to run isn't the Chrome FlashPlayer Plug-in!

Because when disabled Java globally, and then did "click to allow" on this site, it kept blocking it. And I stopped using IE years ago for security issues.
P.S. Another factor here could be a server issue. If Admin is testing the Forum's operation through a fast, direct link to the server, it might appear perfectly normal. But someone calling from a different part of the country, or world, could be experiencing severe lagging problems due to...
