That actually is a very reasonable price if you add up the cost of all the materials and consider how many hours would be required to build it.

If the coop is insulated and lined I would not be surprized that the materials alone exceed $800 and who would build something like that to sell for $200? I have seen sites that advertise I similar design uninsulated for $1800.

I think some of you will be shocked at just how expensive that coop is going to be.
