I did, I put a towel on top of the sand. But there is no way it was the sand to begin with, I had her literally only 12 hours before I noticed it. Most of the time she was sleeping. I did buy veterycin though.
I've never had a problem with bumblefoot and my coop and run both have sand . The baby is on sand but I just got her so she had it before I got her. It's starting to clear up though she can perch on my finger now without falling over.
Her feet are already looking better =) I scrubbed them with some soap and water and applied some honey, let them air dry for 5-10 minutes and wrapped them in vet wrap. She get the booties off after 2 hours or so yesterday but the honey was already dry. she stepped in her water and the boots slid...
10 wouldn't be a problem, she loves being held and coddled lol
She's doing fine, but you can tell her feet hurt her, she will stumble sometimes when she tries to perch on my hand.
