    Possible Wry neck??

Disregard the question of how long to soak it for. It was obviously too early in the morning when I read this. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Though I did just take a dish of their feed this morning and added warm water to it and a bit of chopped garlic and a drizzle of sunflower oil (since it's high in vitamin E). And...

    Possible Wry neck??

Ok. I will try that..I just have no idea how much they will actually eat and how much I will need to soak. I guess it's a learn as I go thing. Do they tend to waste less feed if it's in pellet form? Oh, and how long do you soak it for?

    Possible Wry neck??

Good idea. I have been thinking of trying that but wondering how it will work with colder weather coming. Water is already freezing at night here and I'm thinking they'll have frozen mash if I do that. How do people do fermented feed in the winter?

    Possible Wry neck??

She is not laying yet. She's about 21 weeks old... So hopefully soon. She has been acting normally the past two days and I've been paying extra attention and making sure she's eating well and getting what she needs. The feed I give them is a grower/all flock type feed since I have a couple...

    Possible Wry neck??

I have one more video of my chicken once I moved her back to the flock. This was on the afternoon of the third day. She still wasn't really drinking much or eating a lot and I figured it was partly because she was lonely. As soon as I put her in the run she went and got a big drink of water from...

    Possible Wry neck??

On the third day I fed her some scrambled egg with vitamin E oil and a bit of selenium. She definitely started looking better. Her head is no longer drooping and she has more of an appetite.

    Possible Wry neck??

Here she is the same time as the last video, you can see her neck sure a weird kind of twitchy thing or she sort of shakes her head, seems involuntary.

    Possible Wry neck??

Here she is the second day. I managed to get her to eat some sunflower seeds before bed the first night and she seemed a little better the next day. Here she is eating some tuna with vitamin E oil from a capsule drizzled on it. I heard tuna has lots of selenium and I couldn't find selenium when...

    Possible Wry neck??

Here's a video of my chicken a couple days ago after I separated her and was trying to get her to eat and drink. I really don't know if it's wry neck or something else.

    Possible Wry neck??

I just read another post on here where a chicken was acting like it had wry neck and it was an ear infection. So I'll go check her ears too and see if there's any gunk in there. Otherwise I'll call the feed store as soon as they open!

    Possible Wry neck??

Ok thanks.. Don't have those here in Canada, but I'll call my local feed store and see if they have it.

    Possible Wry neck??

Where do you get that? Any feed store type thing?

    Possible Wry neck??

Thanks! I'm still not sure that's what she has, but I'll try the vit E and selenium. I find it hard to believe she would be deficient in vit E though because it lists natural sources that are high in it and one is sunflower seeds. I give my chickens a handful of those pretty much every day...

    Possible Wry neck??

Hi there, I found one of my chickens standing in the run today just looking at the ground. I watched her for a bit and decided to bring her into our garage to keep an eye on her and make sure she was eating and drinking. I added some garlic and herbs to her food. But her head keeps falling...
