I am actually going to start using the Incuview as a Hatcher because it is much easier to clean due to its smaller size.

Higher quality components, still fairly new as they started in Europe and Australia. I have not heard from one person that said the temps from the factory wasn’t correct. They are factory calibrated for correct temp. Much heavier duty plastic, I also like the egg turners in the Borotto much...

Hi, I still own my incuview good unit. Before your purchase I would look at a Borotto or it’s sister unit the Lumia. I believe the Lumia 16 and Borrowed 24 are in the similar price range and to me a better unit. I also own the Borotto 49 so yes speaking from experience.

It’s a great unit! Just finished geese eggs in it. Make sure you calibrate the temp and humidity

Leave it open all the time. You should never need to touch it.

I take it you used the automatic turner and removed it for hatch time? I just ordered 50 quail eggs myself. Did you have plenty of room for the 50?

I have very good hatch rates with the incuview. I drilled and added a couple holes on top to add water and additional temp probes. I use a Weber meat thermometer probe to have a couple different ways to monitor temp. Mine is in basement where it is low 60’s. I made a box with insulation to set...

Makes 2 of us. I am not one with patience when I want something I want it now. Usually end up paying a premium.

Put them in and let it rock and roll. That is what my inexperienced self would do.

I checked when I received the eggs as well as just before placing them in the incubator I believe 99.9% were saddle shaped. Not moving when egg was moved. I was getting into the habit of tracing the air cell prior to placement but never really traced any of the saddle shaped ones.

Also just a comment about the incuview. This incubator has not stopped working for more than 1 week over the past few months. It has served me real well. My last batch for awhile is hatching as I write this. Here’s a photo of the first chick hatched of the last batch (for awhile) . 3 batches...

All were!! Actually I had a really hard time finding the aircells on all the shipped eggs. Even the white leghorns I had a hard time that are hatching right now as I type this. Once they arrived I would let them set small end down in a carton overnight and next day I put them in the incubator...

I have hatch shipped eggs in all my 3 batches this year. I had them all laying down as normal. A lot of variables on shipped eggs. I even had an 80% hatch rate on one batch on eggs shipped from FL to CT. I also had 0% on eggs shipped from PA to CT. I think a lot has to do with your supplier.

All I need to do is add alittle water (rougly 30ml) morning and night and that puts me in the 45% range. Have my second hatch with the incuview coming Saturday. FWIW I added additional holes in the lid for ease of adding water, temp probe and another monitor and it has really made adding water...
