Roo was about to go on an unnecessarily long explanation of roller pigeons when Kate mentioned the dreaded word: yummy. Roo fake-gasped. "How could you say that!" She exclaimed dramatically. She wanted to add 'in front of the children' but refrained since she didn't want to possibly sound weird...
Roo practically shoved the pigeon into Amer's hands. "Hold her then!" She encouraged enthusiastically. "If you let her perch on your hand she won't bite you."
Neet Neet stared at Amer with eyes that seemed just slightly too big for her small pigeon face.
"Nope." Roo said, trying to scratch her arm. Neet Neet took this as a challenge and grabbed her sleeve and shook it like a dog (yes, she's actually like this irl XD). "It's kinda weird, actually. I've never seen her roll." Roo was secretly delighted that Amer knew anything about pigeons.

"I second the motion!" Roo shouted, getting hit in the face with a mop.
Roo watched her sword fly away as if it was actually, in fact, a fly. "I surrender to your superior skills." She said to Bri. She tried to bow, but stumbled and hit a conveniently located pole. "Dang poles," Roo muttered...
Chonk rolled over on top of him and stretched out his stubby legs to bat at Shiloh in return.
Roo thrusted her sword at Bri's arm, but moved carefully. She saw the way Bri held that mop. She was truly a master of mopmanship.
"Hey, Bri, you wanna have a... SWORD FIGHT?!" Roo asked, brandishing a sword that had miraculously been tucked inside her sweatshirt pocket. "I suppose it's actually a sword versus mop fight, but oh well." Then she charged, not waiting for Bri to answer.
"What about, like, a maximum paid barista?" Roo questioned, appearing out of nowhere. "She might want to be chewed more expensively than that."
Chonk attempted to eat her, flailing his marvelous girth so he could chew on her hands. "He only eats humans and songbirds. I wouldn't be worried about...
