They have missed their BYC friends and so have I! I've been working in the garden and yard a lot while spending lots of time with them outside, and cleaning inside to keep myself busy during these odd times, so forgive me for being scarce!!!
I'm thinking it's just because they're so young. They're pretty new at this, after all. And they're acting peppy and happy. He seems more interested in the calcium than she does, but I keep trying to put it where she will be sure to notice it.
Long time no see @Miss Lydia !!!
I've thought about it, but I'd hate to take her to the vet unless she starts acting like she doesn't feel well. She's peppy, curious, playful, and happy, and I'd hate to traumatize her. She did lay the one random egg back in December. Maybe she's just not ready...

That's exactly what Hemmie has been doing. She has to move every bit of bedding :lol:Yes! They are so fun to watch! They do the most adorable little things! I swear Downey somehow got a drop of drool on me last night while snuggle napping, and when I started laughing he looked so offended! He...
The little nest artist has been hard at work all day. Thanks @Magnolia Ducks and @Miss Lydia for making me think of it like that because it makes me grin endlessly (I attempt to be an artist, myself, lol).
She's been making her pre-lay noise all day while working, and peeks out of her little...
No more eggs yet, besides the one, but both littles are eating and drinking and pooping and doing all manner of duck things, so I'm not overly concerned.
Oh this girl is getting ready to lay tonight! She demanded snuggles AND singing. And the boy is hovering like a prospective dad. :p Pardon the loud designiated duck poop blankets.
