Ducky’s shoes to correct curled toes. I’ll get some B complex tomorrow.

One of my Marans chick has curled toes. I taped them. Possible slipped tendons. I’ll see how “Ducky” does in a week. Shoes come off on Monday. All other chickies seem healthy and chipper.

I’m betting that one chick is a Liege Fighter cockerel. It stood real tall in front of another chick and stomped its feet. Then did a chest bump. :lau

So far 7 chicks have hatched. The one that pipped and died, I figured that it drowned. One more Marans egg is pipped and peeping and another one is rocking. The chicks respond to my voice and come running when they see my hands. :love I’m quite attached to them already. :hugs

5 balls o fluff. While taking this picture # 6 went from pip to chick. :jumpy:jumpy:jumpy:jumpy:jumpy:jumpy A Marans was #6. 3 more pips. One egg had pipped and died. Eggtopsy showed nothing weird. Barnevelder egg is possibly dead. Merry Christmas everyone at BYC!!

6 pips!! Question: how long from pip to zip to hatch. I woke up to one pip and that pip has not progressed. The egg rocks back and forth, but that’s it. :oops:

I have 2 pips :celebrate:celebrate Question: when I woke up I discovered the 2 Pips, but the humidity was between 36% and 40%. I quickly added water. Should I be worried? One Liege Fighter pipped One Barnevelder pipped MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!!:ya
