I haven't taken any pictures yet, been to busy building and cleaning chicken coops.

We just got a pair of English buffs(well we got a trio but one didn't make it, was weak from the start) They are about 4 months old so hoping to be selling chicks by spring time.

OK for fun we put our Cuckoo Rooster over 2 red Hens. Since I have no Red rooster and no Cuckoo hens. So someone with more experience than me, what can I expect in Gen 1 offspring?

What we got were to be English Orps, they are just not as full as my Jubilees but maybe they are slower maturing.

Ok guys, question. We bought some Orps a couple months back and I am curious about the cuckoos. Do they color like a barred Rock? I mean are the females dark and the males lighter.?
