Midnight could hear a distinct flapping noise, when a girl, around Day's age, landed in the clearing. "Misumi. Welcome back ." Midnight greeted her. Misumi sat down next to her, folding in her large (about 14 ft) jet-black wings, her black hair falling into her face, hiding her pale complexion...

Midnight didn't answer, only ate in silence. Queen was lying beside her.

Midnight brought everyone breakfast, consisting of deer meat sausage (yummeh) and scrambled eggs. "I managed to steal the eggs from a shop in town." She shrugged.

"Breakfast!" Midnight called from her cave.

Midnight was cooking breakfast, Queen looking at her eagerly.
