I never thought about that! That's too bad. All they would need is deep enough water to dunk their whole head in though and they'd be fine. Swimming water isn't necessary but it does make them happy.
A couple months ago I got some ducks, I've been wanting them for awhile and finally got them!
I've got 2 Buffs, 2 Blue Swedish, and 3 Welsh Harlequins.
All supposed to be girls, and I'm quite sure that's what I've got, thankfully!!!
Tookie Two (Named that since she looked similar in color to Tookie, who's in my PFP), sadly passed away today, from what I assume was old age. She was 8yo, and we hatched her in our first and only hatch. She had a good long life, I'll miss her so much! ❤️
Angel my Dominique, who sadly passed away today. I found her today acting sick, and before I could do much she hadn't made it. Not sure what was wrong. 😢
She was my favorite hen, and the most personable one I've ever had. She's been through so much. I can't believe she's gone, it was so sudden...
Thank you all. 😊
He passed while I was on vacation, came back and found his skeleton and a bunch of feathers out in the open, seems the vultures got to him. But I'm glad I at least can still bury him next to Tookie. 😌
Brutus, who sadly passed away last Tuesday morning. He was 8yo and had a good long life! He was from my original flock as was Tookie, guess he couldn't live without her. Miss them both!
She doesn't really like to be held and is a bit skittish, probably cause I had my favorite out of the bunch.
Her eggs are pretty, but I was expecting darker eggs, it's probably cause she's hatchery quality I think.
