Depends on what I’m hatching for. I do a personal hatch to find new breeders in the early spring, so that by fall I can do a second batch with those offspring. Otherwise I do batches when I find enough people want to order chicks from me.

I also plan to work on some Polkies (Silkie x Polish) in order to get some Buff Laced and Silver Laced Silkies.

Haha I just keep getting eggs for the incubator. Right now I have some Mille Fleur D'uccles, White Ameraucanas, and Duckwing Araucanas in the incubator, due to hatch next week I believe. Then, starting tomorrow or Wednesday I'll have about 50 more eggs to put into the incubator including...

Things like cuckoo, dun, calico, mottled, etc. Lots of interesting colors are going to come out of these eggs.

I’m going to be setting a bunch of silkies in crazy colors as well as a few other breeds I haven’t thought of yet. I think BO stands for buff Orpington. But I could be wrong.
