Havent been on here in a while. but I have about 70 coturnix chicks in the brooder, and 210 coturnix eggs in the bator along with about 20 button quail.
Ok gotcha, I wasnt trying to argue your points, I didn't realize you were aware that they did indeed contact fish and game. And yes, Felines are very territorial, We used to hound hunt when I was little, and you could point out obvious territories and which cat/bear occupied which area quite easily.
The bobcat was not relocated by the person who trapped it, they contacted the local fish and game to relocate it, So the proper thing in this case was done. And if you do trap an animal, either way its going to probably die, whether you yourself kill it, or another animal does when relocated...
Yes, definitely bobcat, me and my brothers hunt bobcats, mountain lions have high pitched noises, not like in the movies, bobcats have the scary deep growl. Also have pointed ears, short tail, and spots, a mountain lion wouldnt fit in that trap
That is a bobcat. Be careful, they do alot of damage, as your turkey and polish hen sadly found out about. Most fish and game offices will gladly either put down the animal, or relocate it no questions asked. May i ask what you used as bait?
Ok, I have one A&M chick that ill trade for some coturnix too.....I only have 5 chicks left now (guy came and bought some) hoping a few more will hatch, but its not looking so hot.....the next batch is going into the new cabinet incubator
Sounds good! Let me know how the bobwhite hatch goes.....I will buy all the ones you dont want....Oh and I might be getting 4 of the white ringnecks either tuesday or wednesday....I am keeping the mature pair and my friend is taking the 2 juveniles....So If you have room next spring Ill give...
