Just for those that were curious, I didn't do anything to them, and most of them have stopped sneezing and wheezing. Only 1 left has a slight wheeze. But I'm glad for that!
Thank you, I read all of that thread. I'm not sure if that is what they have... it may just be the whole heart wet lung thing that the Cornish are prone to.............. ?
I thought the pullets lived easier than the roo's? I want them for my crossing project. Should I keep one of the Cornish cockerel's and put him over my SLW hens instead?
Thank you Katy! That's what I was thinking it was, I just wanted to make sure it was that and not them being sick.
I want to keep some of the pullets (now have to chose ones that don't make that noise) but I will process all the cockerels.
Do you think I should process sooner than 3 (more)...
Since they are only 6 weeks old I don't have a problem medicating them if they need it, because I hadn't planned on processing them until 9 weeks, plus we might keep some of them. I really want them to be healthy. Should I start them on antibiotics? I can get tetracycline here...
Help please...
This has been up all day in the other section and I haven't got a single answer... hopefully someone in this section can help me out, I really wanted to get them meds (if they need it) tonight before the feedstore closes...
1) What type of bird , age and weight.
