Thank you, I read all of that thread. I'm not sure if that is what they have... it may just be the whole heart wet lung thing that the Cornish are prone to.............. ?

CCX pullets can live as long as 3years and make excellent momma's. Watch weights, feed on schedule (12/12) and watch for stressors in breathing. We use an oil mix of camphor, basil, garlic and rosemary rubbed on Combs or under wattles and wings. Helps ease the breathing. Kind of like a Vicks vapor rub for chicks. Good luck!I thought the pullets lived easier than the roo's? I want them for my crossing project. Should I keep one of the Cornish cockerel's and put him over my SLW hens instead?
