Yeah I can tell a BIG difference when there are fewer in the litter. I wonder how it works out though when they are almost full grown, do they catch up, or will the kits from larger litters always be smaller? ... hmm...

I was thinking the same thing. I haven't had a chance to get my 8 week weights, but half of them are sold (the larger ones) so I think it would be skewed anyways. However... Lily has 9 new babies, Sweet Pea has 7 new babies and Honey is going to pop any minute!

LoL. I haven't processed any yet. This is the first litter so I am all gushy about them. I've never done meat rabbits before. I want to keep one doe, but IF I don't sell all of them THEN I will process whatever is left. On the good note, ALL THREE does are preggers and due next month...

Yes I do take them out and clean them and spray them with bleach water and sun dry. All of mine does do NOT use them to potty in, except one, so what I do is just leave the bottom off (they have removable bottoms) and THEN stuff it with hay, so they have hay all around them and under them IN the...

I always leave the nestboxes in with the does, look at the pic, the doe next to her without kits has a nest box. I've found that they REALLY love them and sleep in them all the time. (I have one doe that actually almost never comes out, she just LOVES her box)... Plus since they are all outside...
