I'm talking about Napswithchickens and the May block. Don't know if she recieved it. I posted on #372 asking and you posted on #373 seeing if she sent it out. What a mess up.
Oh..nope, never got that one either...we never heard from her at all after she signed up....
Jennilou has...
Scrambled Eleven hasn't sent that girl her block yet so she is going to send it to Luna if Luna doesn't hear from this girl by Thursday so it is all good with Luna.
Luna sorry you have not got a block yet, I don't know Jennilou but they had till the 25th to send it out and she could be a little late. If she doesn't send ya one let me know I will make you one no problem.
Acres I know you have a lot on your plate but are we keeping this thread going for July as well? Or are you planning to start another thread.
Will you just let me know what you decide and when we need to sign up for it. Thank you very much, as I said I know you have a lot going right now.

You can trace the patterns onto the paper that the men at the meat markets use. Or you can trace it on tissue paper (I haven't tried this yet, so I'm not sure how sturdy it would be.). I would go to a meat market and ask to buy som of their paper and trace it on there. YOu can also use...
Ok I will take October. Wow the presure LOL. I will make sure it is a block that Scrambled would like to do. OH the choices LOL. Good thing I got 4 months to think that one over LOL. Wonder how many times I will change my mind.
Acres you are the expert on paper piecing so what type of paper...
Ok went back and yes the second one has some paper piecing. So has it been decided which one we will be doing for July?
Sorry had to edit as I was spelling like a yooper.
I am not sure if ya all was looking at the same page as me but I printed both of them off and they are not Paper Pieced and they do not have a template. They are cut with a rotary cutter and are not that hard from the looks of it. But they look tough at a glance.
Scrambled you got that new...
Elven I got your block done and it will go into the mail tomorrow. I hope you like it.
Scrambled I am done with the June Themed swap.
Hey Chicken Woman I like them both and they are not paper pieced. I liked sewing the paper pieced but not taking that paper off.
Thanks Acres I know I have another week but I sure wanted to get it out last week. Oh well what would life be if all our plans went as planned. No fun that is for sure LOL. I don't know about ya all but I have never had a day that something didn't change at the last minute LOL.
I still have to get mine done. I was kind of looking for a different colored fabric for one of the accent colors that I had but can't find it anywhere so am going to work with the one I have.
Then all heck has been breaking out here in the last week with that coyote family moving in and me...
I like that one leeps and don't worry about scrambled she'll come around at least it isn't paper pieced she should be happy about that LOL.
Scrambled those scrap strip quilts look cool. One of the quilt shops around here sells small bags of scraps like that all cut and ready to sew. She sells...
SCRAMBLED what have you been up too. Not telling us about the new guy. Must be those racey red shoes with the high heals.
Shame on you now spill it girl we are all friends here. Even if we don't have whiskers and fur.
Beverly (leepsy) I got my block today thank you so much. I just love those colors, you can't tell that you had trouble with it, looks like a pro did it to me. Very nice job.
I hope to get to mine today but the way this rainy day is going who knows. Was going to do it yesterday but my daughter...

What I do is very simple and is less wasteful of fabric.
Often times I see a pattern in a magazine that I really like, but it is for a 9 inch block instead of 12, and all the directions for cutting the pieces is for that 9 inch block.
So I draw off the pattern onto a 12 inch piece...
