7/17, 1/4 &3/3. Molt is hitting hard. Fester and 5 hens have lost their tails. Cochins in molt are so messy!

Egg count is down, molt has begun. Tails are falling off the EE hens. Blue Cochins are close to starting blowing feathers, get the rake out! POOF!

@gander007 Do you take your hatching eggs out of your turner before hatch? And if so when? My current hatch is funky. Eggs removed from turner all hatching with issues while eggs still in turner are fine and running around in 8 hours.

Working crazy hours with everything else going on, counts ummm nope. Heat and feed change and I am lucky to get 3 a day now. New eggs in my bator on Saturday and the quail hatch began this morning.

Congrats on your hatch! Also congrats on your safe trip to and from BG! I don't get on desktop often to check ovation comments, been sort of not keeping up on counts either. Been busier than normal lately. Hope you are well!

@karenerwin my hatch was a bust,bad placement of incubator. I only had 4 hatch out of 10, lost one though. Quail in the bator now and it was placed in a better spot hopefully.
