The soup I made was great! I used all the veggies in a veggie broth and then added quinoa! Delicious! I think the cabbage is a real boost to the flavor!
I visited 37 houses today to remind them to VOTE!
I know one of the Presidential candidates from my years living in Hawaii!
He's a good man.
I think about a condo somedays also Opa. But in the end, I love my little acre of land!
It has been a beautiful Autumn, the best one that I can ever remember! I hope you get lots of fish!
Opa, have Hope get you some Melatonin drops from the health food store. I put just a couple drops under my tongue and it helps me go back to sleep!
I would like to freeze some peppers also. What is the best way to do that? They are hot Jalapeno peppers. Thank you!
Sorry 1Muttsfan but I would rather have Opa's interruptions!
But I sincerely hope things turn out well Bella.
Once I sprayed a hornets nest a couple of times and they kept surviving. So a skunk(?) came into the yard at night and dug their whole nest up and ate them.
p.s. Opa - you are...
LOL! I have not tried peppers yet!
I have been lazy! I slice my Roma's in half, place them skin side down on a greased baking sheet, sprinkle them with a little garlic powder and bake them at 300 degrees for between 1-2 hours.
Then I just use a regular blender to blend them up with some...
Opa, we have a canoe also. Do you transport your canoe in your truck and the cart also to a location and then do you use the cart to get down to the river or stream?
OPA - sounds like you have a wonderful family!
For the mothers - My son read later than my daughter. Don't give up.
Also, the fine motor skills for handwriting can come in late. Best not to push too hard until the child is ready.
Opa, as you know we just visited my mother and father in law in Austria.
They are 86 and 87 years and in excellent health. One reason I suspect is that they walk every day.
But another surprise to me was how good the simple food we ate tasted!
For example the chicken was just cooked in butter...
Hello Opa!
I am here to let you know that we are missing you over on the Michigan thread!
I hope that you and your family are all well!
Blessings, Nancy
