I have one WL that is on her second laying cycle lays an egg almost every day a big white egg bigger than my JG egg. I keep her for her eggs and her personality. Reminds me of a dizzy blonde with lots of hair like Kelly Bundy.
You are right in the close up his lobes are red and the white is his ear fuzz. That would most likely rule out any white leghorn they usually carry the white lobe over in first generation crosses. Could be a white rock and RIR (sexlink?). He could be a red sexlink he appears to have a faint...
He actually looks like a white Leghorn crossed with a RIR. First generation crosses with WL are usually mostly white as white is really a pigment blocker and not really a color so it usually dominates.
He has a white earlobe which means he is a mediterranean cross. Could be a result of a sexlink but not one of the conventional ones.
Ameraucanas have muffs not the tuffs on the the ear. A red sexlink is a hybrid by crossing two birds of a certain gene type.
