Okay the person who I got mine from said they where blue/black again I don't know one was much lighter and looked blue. I gave two of the three to a friend who just had to have them lol.

The combs are what I look at I am not good at the feather sexing. You should see the size of the combs on my hen. I will see if I can get a picture of her.

Oh I have a hugh CON They are so cute sweet and great broodies its awful you just fall in love with them and then you are hooked I find my LF cochin far more evil then my little silkie. I think because I love their HUGE size! Mine lays great a med. Light brown eggs almost everyday
