All 3 seem happy and healthy and I sincerely believe mama is thrilled to finally have babies after being broody for almost 6 weeks;) When do they usually take them off the nest? I can't what to see her out foraging with them!

Any pointers for her when they hatch? Should I keep her seperated or let her back in with everyone else right away.

I would like to let her raise them. She's been broody for quite a while. Most of the time sitting on an empty nest in the beginning. Finally I gave her these because I felt bad for her.

I candled the egg and the pip isn't in the air cell. I have one guinea hen in my flock that refuses to stay in the pen. She occasionally lays an egg in the nest. Could she have pecked the egg creating the hole that I assumed was a pip or do you think the duckling is just positioned incorrectly?
