How would that effect the egg quality? I guess I will risk it with the general breeds. I think most folks are eating them since they usually return weekly. I may try heating them and see what happens to the quality.

I am intrigued and worried since I sell roadside eggs and they are very fertile! So how long should I refrigerate them to make sure none of my buyers are hatching the eggs for eating and not buying the higher priced hatching eggs???
