    Thanks! I use pine only for the shavings and I change them out 1st on day 10 then about every 4-5 days depending if it is warm or cold weather. You do have to watch babies eyes as they are opening and make sure they open ok. But this is true with any bedding. Personally I have used shavings...

    Thanks, so far we did good, we lost power but they had it back on in about 10 minutes. Phew. Next storm please!! I do have a humidity gauge. The babies all have their eyes open now and their funky ears. I will try to get picks for ya all. SInce I am stuck home right now any way.

    I go to the tile store and they let me pick through broken ones. I freeze mine too, it works soooo well. Course, we don't get very many hot days up here.
