    Very cute. My hen that was sitting on eggs kept kicking out the tan egg for 2 days in a row, I took it away. I candled on day 3 the white eggs. One looked fine, the other looked to not be developing. I removed it, then cracked it was developing but slower than normal, probably the cold weather...

    He is not broody, he is showing the hens where to lay an egg, because then he is a hero, and they could not figure it out on their own. "Thank you big strong manly rooster! With out you I would be laying my egg in the street!" It is funny though! he doesn't belong there!

    we do! I thought I was looking at my birds! I gave my broody one more egg so 4 total. 2 white leghorn, one green mystery egg, one of the blue hen's tan egg.

    Love those tiny babies, one time I had 2 baby turkeys, and bought a tiny sebright baby to go with them. when they grew up, the boy turkey always walked around with the sebright between his legs like it was his baby, and if a hen disrespected his chick, he would chase that hen down.
