It really is. It's the best way to tell, though it's not 100% foolproof. It takes a while to be able to tell the difference in fecal pellets, which are round and firm when lightly squeezed. The embryos are a lot less firm and kinda squishy. Don't be afraid that you will hurt the doe/babies...

I have a question. Does anyone have a cheap build plan for a big grow out cage? I'm only 15 so I don't have the authority to buy all the stuff myself, and my parents don't want to spend much money. I have 3 does, one I'd bred now. I bred her the 1st. We have one small grow out cage, but that...

Oops I apologize. Didn't read down enough to see it was corrected :) I can simple it down. For the question what would it produce, it really does depend. Say the REW is genetically brown (agouti) which is of course dominant, and she is bred to a black buck. If she hides the gene for black...

I hate to correct, but e is the extension gene, not color depth. The c series deals with color. C is full color, such as castor, otter or black. cchd is for color except for the middle bands such as ermine chin ect. cchl is shaded in extremities and it's colors such a sable. ch is pointed...

My bucks don't like posing lol so that's why they aren't posed. The two does were my first ever broken new Zealands. I also have a Flemish giant doe that I am planning to breed to notch. We are raising the new Zealand for pet and maybe show quality herds :)
