    99.9% done! It is done without trim, which we plan to add in the next few weeks. No rush on it though. Finished product photos and some photos of the ladies checking it out! Thanks for looking! I'll update when I have the trim on :) Oh, and we're adding a roost soon...

    Latest on the coop: Fully painted, hardware cloth on, and roof slats painted and attached. That is the ramp leaning against the run. Today: Attach the rest of the hardware cloth, Attach the roof, attach the human door and the coop door! SO EXCITED. Oh, and a suprise under the roof ;)

    Thanks everyone!! GO GATORS!! We have some more work done, no additional painting. The eventual color scheme will be barn red and white with black or brass hinges, not sure yet. Got the floor, interior wall and side wall cut and fitted. Since it is Florida, we will be adding some holes...

    Finally got some more work on the coop done today. Painted the two end walls and the frame in "Barn Red" paint for outdoor uses. LOVE it so far. We are taking our time painting, this is the second coast in 4 days. The Coop is on its side, had to paint the bottom of the frame today...

    Thanks for the kind words! We are so excited to FINALLY be making a real coop. 1hawaiian Thanks! Bipolar_hippo: We went the fast route with the "temp" coop. Really though, its an excuse to try out a new technique for us and use the new impact driver We didn't have to work on it tonight...

    Tonight we got some more work on the coop done: Plans for this week: Get the roof slats on and paint the frame. Hopefully this week: fit the OSB on the sides and fit the door. Thanks for looking!

    Yesterday, we started building our new coop! Its a 6x3 tractor with a slanted tin roof and coop with nesting boxes and a roost. So excited!! I have two OEGB and they have been making do in the "temp" tractor for about 2 months now. They seem to like it alright, no stress just some boredom...
