Safeguard Mash - Zero Day Egg Withdrawal

Get a 1ml syringe from the pharmacist the kind that they use for insulin. That is such a small dose it will even be hard to dose out with a 1ml syringe. Keep in mind that 0.100ml is 1/10 of a ml and 0.023ml is 1/4 of that. JT

Safeguard Mash - Zero Day Egg Withdrawal

I found that if you let the mash sit a bit it continues to absorb the water and become drier. I keep adding water until it stops absorbing it but not so much as it has standing water. JT

Safeguard Mash - Zero Day Egg Withdrawal

@casportpony Thanks! Today is day 5 and walking around the chicken yard and I don't see any diarrhea just normal poop. I pick up all the poop twice a day so I know it's from today only. I think they are gaining weight from all the poop I get in the morning from the roosting area. Average egg...

Safeguard Mash - Zero Day Egg Withdrawal

I just want to report in, they gobbled up the medicated mash like it was candy and seemed to eat more than before. This sure is the easy way to get rid of round worms. Thanks JT

Safeguard Mash - Zero Day Egg Withdrawal

My birds weight 40.5 pounds. I was surprised to see one weigh 3.8 pounds and one weighed 6.6 pounds. I made a spreadsheet and it says I need 0.18mL. I'll have to see how they react to mash, they have never had any before. Maybe put some banana on top they go bananas over banana lol. If I can...
