I hardly think it is the hatchery's fault. Meyers has shipped out thousands of boxes of chicks. I think they know what they are doing. OP. quit trying to get anywhere with the clerks. do as many people have said, go to a supervisor , and then go up the chain of command.. also let Meyers know...

I agree, go in quietly. My "IMHO" only applied if the person was scamming. After reading some of the posts, it appears that they were possibly misinformed. At any rate, I still believe that the OP has some money coming back.

It sounds to me like someone at the PO has a sweet deal going. I wonder how many times this has happened to other people at that PO ? If the chicks were already there, then all you did was pick them up before they called you. and by 9:3o somebody should have already called you.. I would push it...
