Tax season is over! Well, at least our firm's tax season hours are over. So, now I have more time to hang out on BYC! My ducks are doing well. Daisy has bumblefoot right now, but she is doing okay. All the girls are laying eggs now! A lot has changed in the world lately, so I hope everyone is...

The boys will be 1 year in March, Daisy is 9 months, and the babies are 4 months. Daisy quit laying in November and hasn't started back up yet, so hopefully everyone will be laying soon!

We had a little photo shoot until I got pooped on, so we didn't get everyone's head shot, but here is a picture of them tearing up the yard in the rainy weather as well as the head shots we did manage to get.

It has been a while! All of my babies are doing great, I will post some pictures soon. I see the site has changed since I was here last, so I will have to get used to that. I have a lot of catching up to do. I hope you have all been well!

Surprisingly, the little runners are the most friendly and least skittish. None of them want me to pick them up, but when I pick up the runners they settle down and let me snuggle with them. The layers don't like to be held and the buff just completely freaks out. They are all precious though!

Now that I have lost my Cricketbug, I have two boys and one girl. I have looked for adult females, but I cannot find any close to me. So, much to my husband's dismay, I ordered 5 female ducklings from Metzer! I know it will be a while until they can be with the big boys, but I have been paying...

Cricket is a flying duck! I guess I will have to clip her wings. She is pretty small. My other 3 ducks haven’t quite mastered the skill yet.

I separated Cricket last night and she ate plenty of food and had normal poop. She weighs 2 lbs 2 oz. Does this seem small? She is a tad smaller than Daisy, but I figured the girls are still growing because the boys are still a good bit bigger than them.

Okay, I have some more questions about my Cricketbug. She has been feeling a lot better recently, but she prefers mostly to hang out by herself and sleeps more than my other ducks. Sometimes, she will realize they are not near her and she will quack and look around for them. She gets left behind...
