We do Layena pellets plus a 5 grain scratch mix, about 75/25 ratio for the ducks and chickens and they do fine with it. Good feathers, healthy shelled eggs and both my ducks and chickens are robust but not fat. They also all get kitchen scraps/leftovers daily and I tell you what.... the chickens...
