Hello sorry i have been a bit busy. Do you live in a very humid place? Where are you keeping your incubator?
You can try moving the incubator or putting a dehumidifier in the room with the incubator....the best method i have found is to lower the temperature in the room with the incubator. A...
If there was slimy/watery stuff in the egg its to high humidity....the only thing that should be in the shell at day 20+ is the chick and possibly his yoke...any other liquid/wet/gooey stuff mean your humidity is to high or your temps are to low. Make sure you move your thermometer all around...
With a Hygrometer....That was the exact same problem i had, one maybe two would hatch if i helped and the rest all died in shell with thick slime or watery junk all around them. i stopped adding water at all until day 18 and i got a 10/14 hatch without any assistance...would have been 11/14 but...
I am not sure where you live but i found for myself living in michigan i do not need to add any water to my imcubator at all. The ambient humidity is enough all on its own, even if i keep my incubator at 25-40% humidity i get all wet chicks drowning in their shells. So i know keep my incubator...
Firstly I'm not a bud..i'm a female. Secondly my source is Nanchang Dulong Industrial Co., Ltd.
The quote was EXW price per unit....FOB or CIF price per unit will be more. EXW means you will have to arrange transportation of your goods from their factory/business to the port of your choice at...
They come directly from the manufactures distributor...in china. They have to be paid for in full, then shipping by freighter from china to most likely a port in california, where you have to pay for customs, then for whatever parcel/delivery service you choose to deliver them to your door. So...
I'm pretty sure it would be more economical to buy the janoel cabinet bators instead. You can get two of the big 1200 egg cabinets for $2,000 or less vs $3,900 for 50 little ones..i'm not even sure how one would plug in 50 of the little ones at once.
I'm pretty sure you will be happy with it. Mine has been running for almost 2 months straight without an issues and severla batches of eggs run thru it. The temp is always 37.5 on the nose...no matter the temp in my house and my house temp varies from 45F-98F (woodstove)...and it sits in front...
Finally found out the "Brand" of the knock off Janoel8-48.....its called Howard YZ8-48. Also finally found a weight on both of them.
YZ8-48 11lbs
Janoel8-48 16lbs
So definately lacking quality parts, no way you can cut out 5 lbs and have the same quality.
Sadly as i have said many times before the knockoff ones are usually junk. It is the exact same panel used for the real janoel but the sensors, fans, heating element, turners, mesh floor, lid, sides....pretty much every other part of it beyond that control panel is the cheapest they can get...
Actually the turner doesnt lol.....it has so many cycles that it stopped on center...stops turned to the right...stops turned to the left. i've not been able to watch the thing for 8hrs to varify but i believe it is 2hrs center...cycle thru 2hrs right...cycle 2hrs center...cycle 2 hrs...
actually the instructions are really clear.....if you dont buy the knockoff. The actual Janoel brand 8-48 has a full english manual that tells you how to change all the settings...its the one with the non-translucent lid.
KNOCK OFF aka usually doesnt work right/breaks:
REAL JANOEL8-48...
