I do have those, the trouble I am running into is when trying to use the technique of folding the fabric before cutting to get a long, continuous piece (whether for border or binding.) It usually ends up looking a little wonky instead of nice and (mostly, lol) straight. Any pointers? :)
Yes! I have also heard of people using old sheets or a single layer of flannel as batting, to make a nice lightweight summer quilt. I have never personally tried it (it’s quite cold where I live,) but I can’t see why it wouldn’t work.

Totally understand. I haven't been able to work on any of my projects as of late just for the fact that trying to quilt at my kitchen table with a toddler underfoot is definitely a "one step forward, two steps back" kind of process. :rolleyes: Had to set it aside for a while before frustration...
