Although I've known about the avoidance of any -caine pain relief products in antibiotic ointments for years, thanks for mentioning it for anyone who might not know. I always mention it, too, to be on the safe side,when antibiotic ointment is being discussed.

How often do you suggest putting the iodine on the scabs/sores? Hubby found some at a CVS today on his way home, and I coated each spot on her neck nearly as soon as he brought it in the door. I'm so thankful that, so far, it appears to just be in the top layers of the skin.
