    Mine had some goo stuck to their umbilical cord. In fact I even had to tie a tiny piece of thread to one's cord and cut to keep it from bleeding. I know sounds crazy but it dried up and they are doing great now. Here are some updated pics of the ones that hatched out on Sunday and Monday...

    I agree, I think if they are chirping and pipping and trying to get out and no progress is made then you should help them. If I would have helped one of mine, then it would have made it but it was too late. Good job!!! Can't wait for pics!!

    I just checked on my other 4 eggs one of which had been chirping away and then silence. I candled him and nothing so I broke open the egg and he had died. Fully developed. I should have helped him out. He was stuck. The others, one I put back in the bator, another had stopped developing...

    Ok guys, I have 5 new babies hatched out and 4 more pips. I had 1 more that hatched a little yellow baby but did not make it. All others are doing great. I will keep you posted. Keep your fingers crossed and say a little prayer!
