Yes I have asked about sexing before but never got much info except for the same pictures you just showed me and they are not much help. Perhaps u should just not reply to my posts if you find them so repetitive. Lots of new people join, and not everyone is on to see every post, so my asking...
Ok question about hatching... My IB hen is sitting on 4 eggs due to hatch in about 7 days. Should I be doing anything to help now or while hatching ? Or will mom be ok? This is her first eggs ever.
Thanks
If bird genetics are like human genetics you could get a peach even if dad has no peach genes. Even though it is the more unlikely outcome it is possible if it is a dominant gene.
This is Rio and Jewel. Can anyone give me insight about there genetics. I think they are India blue, but maybe more then what I can see there?
I'm just wondering about what kind of babies we are having :)
Ok thanks, I just looked them up. So I guess mine are not bs, they are just regular India blue. My hen laid 4 eggs, I can not wait. I hope they all hatch.
How do the light yello/peachy coloured ones turn out as they get older? Do they get darker ? I just wonder because I have never seen light ones before, except the completely white ones. This is my first year with peafowl, and my 3 year old female Jewel just laid her 4th egg today
This is my first year with our peacock Rio and our peahen Jewel. They are 3 years old and Jewel just laid her first 2 eggs. I'm not sure she is sitting on them enough. How long should she be off them ?
