So we did the surgery again yesterday, and there still wasn't a kernel. All that came out was some dark brown liquid. She seems to be walking okay. Her legs both felt hot yesterday, when compared to the other ducks'. I thought I was related to the temperature, but now I don't think so. What...
Would something like this be ideal?

Okay, I'll do some long soaks to really soften it more and then try again. Does anyone know if lavender or eucalyptus "scented" epsom salts are okay to use for soaking (obviously would not her her drink from it). We're running low on epsom salt now after all these soaks, and that's the only kind...
This is what I looks like as of this afternoon. One of my family members keeps letting her out of the cage, so she's now limping on the OTHER LEG (grrrr...) after having "funky time" with a drake a few days ago. Since then, she's been lying down more, too, to rest her foot. That foot appears...
We've been trying to avoid that given the pandemic, but may have to take her if it doesn't start clearing up. I checked on her late last night and it actually felt as if the swelling had gone down, so I'll watch and if it stops improving or gets worse, taking her to the vet might be the best...
This would be the 4th time then. I haven’t found an actual “kernel” in any of the previous times, so I’m worried I’m just making it worse. I’m just hesitant to do it again. Do you know of any other issues that would present as bumblefoot?
So, the swelling has not gone down at all, but I don't think it's any larger. The scab now looks like a normal one. Should I just keep cleaning it and applying Neosporin? I just don't know how long it should take for the area to shrink. I'm assuming if the scab heals over, that means the worst...
Do you happen to know how long it should take to surface? I did not see anything when I pulled off the scab. I am a bit concerned that I am doing more harm than good at this point. It's been almost a month since I began treatment. Is there a possibility there just isn't a kernel? Or maybe it's...
So, I've been doing daily foot soaks and applying Neosporin. The scab seems to be slightly lifting off the foot pad. Would that be a signal to try looking for a kernel again? I don't want to restart the whole process too early, but I also do not want to wait for it to get worse.
