    I discovered wire floors..... especially where the food and water sits. I use a rabbit cage and cover that wire floor with a plastic 1/4 inch mesh. Not too hard on the feet and poo and goo go throo. I am also using a rubber door mat for half of the cage. roll it up pull it out hose it off...

    x2 best way to check is to try to crack one open. A chicken egg will crack on one tap guinea eggs take about three or four ..... um er or the back of the kinfe. The shell is about twice the thickness of a chicken egg. deb

    I was looking up badgers for my area and they do live here but they tend to stick to areas that have sandy soil and are more open.... Their main food is gophers and voles and mice. My house is in very thick Chaparal, growing in very hard decomposed granite soil. But I will inspect the coop...

    Thanks Peeps I think those times where the humidity went down to 20 percent didnt help but those keets are survivors. Something is taking all the eggs up at the house. I cant gather every day so I will have to buy my next batch. Sumatras hear I come. deb
