Second feeding of the morning went well. The sickest one seems to know I am helping it as it comes to me when I come down into the booder. And this time, it took a couple of drinks of the medicated water without me having to put its beak into the water. So that's encouraging.

Thanks you guys! I was feeding the two worst off all day yesterday and this morning, I think they seem a little better? The worst one still needs help drinking but its head is no longer down to the floor and it seems to be moving around a bit better.
They are great little birds. I have only had them a couple weeks. They seem smaller than other breeds I have raised in the past and somehow more fragile? I dunno.
I have been enjoying them. Had a surprise hatch a couple days ago so have been scrambling around getting a second brooder...
Oh, and they have been on medicated crumbles since I got them. They did have a stupid frizzle that snuck in the laid an egg in their brooder but that is the only cross contamination they have had.
The breeder says they were for Marek's. No mention of Coccidia. I am currently operating under the assumption it is coccidiosis and am treating them with COVAD @ 2 tsp/gal of the 9.6% liquid. Fingers crossed? You think that's it?
The poop seems OK. I have not noticed any bloody stool or anything. I did have some issues with feather loss when I first got them but I dusted their area and them with some diatomaceous earth and they were all looking pretty good.
One of them is a LOT smaller than the rest but the sick one...
Thanks for the reply! I guess I wasn't clear, I have had them onhand for a couple weeks. I believe the breeder mailed them out at 4 weeks old so they are probably about 6 weeks now. The one started being weird yesterday and I started them on the CORID today.
