I have not had reproductive problems with those two breeds. I have had them with golden comets from a hatchery for sure. Good point!

I am deciding on getting pullets from tsc or hatching Arkansas blue egg layers and pita pintas It is a tough one! Getting the pullets will get eggs faster but the other breeds are very nice.

Probably from wild animals. From what I have seen on BYC, tapeworms in chickens are fairly rare.

They are not round worms. They might be tapeworms. You need to figure it out though. since different worm medicine treats them. Look at internet images or take a sample to a vet. Do not tell them it is chicken poo though

The other feed store closed down a couple of years ago-- There is a car wash there now. I should be able to hide them well enough.

The limit is 5 and TSC sells a 6 min. here. I would have to process the current 4...or hide them....

My hens are a bit hit and miss too still! The Pita Pinta has not laid an egg yet this season.
