Update! The egg under our broody hen hatched! However, she kicked the chick out of the nest and continued to sit on his hatched egg. Found the chick most likely in the nick of time--he was very cold, limp and white in color.... Ran him to the brooder and held him for a good hour and a half under...

I will take a look I did find someone with bronze..but they are a breeding pair. I may pick them up anyway Worst comes to worst we have a chicken that's been missing for 2 weeks now...finally found her with a nest of eggs--so we may steal a chick or two for him if they hatch.

Still a couple days left on the last eggs set...but our poor little guy is all alone, on the hunt to find a few bronze chicks to add.... Just striking out finding any in PA!

Still nothing on the other eggs. Hopefully we get another chick to hatch so this one isn't all alone! He's doing great though...24 hours out of shell and is active, and looks to be nice and strong

We had one egg hatch as of this afternoon. Hubby called to tell me...all I know is it's "Yellow and hoping everywhere in the incubator". Other eggs are chirping..so heres hoping to having more hatch! Updates soon! I have a staggered hatch up until next week, so it will be long wait to see how...

Just set two eggs under a broody chicken, so we will see how she does with them as well!

Ours are in the egg turner as we normally put eggs in. So far things seem to be ok. I grabbed 2 eggs and candled them on day 7 and I can clearly see veins. I did throw in a few more eggs the last few days, so I'll have a staggered hatch. So far so good!

Set 6 pea eggs sunday, and 5 duck eggs sunday...heres hoping for a good hatch for all of us! After 0/14 hatching (2 pips that stopped, 5 others formed but stopped) of turkey eggs..I am crossing my fingers for at least a little bit of a hatch!
