Pnp4kidz I am an inexperienced candler so just do it on day 18.. just candled to put eggs on lockdown and some eggs look nice and full of chick.. others were clear and 3 were questionable.. so I put them in the hatcher.. I use a small maglight in a dark closet.. Good luck Shelly

I candle on day 18 because I lack experience.. lol... on day 18 it is either developing or clear.. no doubts.. they still don't all hatch..but at least I have a better idea.. : ) Good luck with your project. Shell

Greengoddess... my temperatures are stable at 99-100 degrees and my humidity is on point - both during incubation and then lockdown.. eggs start cheeping on day 21..but I don't see my first chick until day 22..Its all good though.. Shelly

I am joining you... I have a batch of 24 eggs set to hatch on the 27th.. well day 21 is the 27th..,. all of mine seem to start then.. but actually hatch on day 22 on.. good luck everyone!! Shelly
