are they black when they get bigger they're wings look like a rainbow of colors when in sunlight? thats all i was told when i got them

i have 2 brownish colored ducklins with black bills and black feet supposed to be the only duck from U.S. anyone know what kind they are?

the guy i got them from said they were a flightless version of the mallard. maybe they are a rouen?
