Okay, I'm insane. I have a broody, it's her first time, so she botched it and had one good egg. So I visited a friend today who had a few serama eggs.... So the broody has new eggs. Let's see if she handles it better when they're smaller and she's had 10 days of practice.

Update... My restuffing the partridge rock chicks under the broody turkeys WORKED this time. They've accepted them and all is well. Now if they'd just climb off the darn nest and relax... But one step at a time. All three babies are happy and busy and look cute perched on top of Mommas...
My turkey poult is out! And so far so good. The hens wanted to keep the chicks but they're still afraid of Jake so they won't leave the nest when he's there. I'm selling him today so they can settle in better and they can raise up the boy they want from the juvenilles. They came from being...
The broody turkey hens have at least one chick still under them but I found one outside the coop. Warming him up and feeding him. I will restuff him under there tonight and hope for a take.
Gahhh the heat or the storms or something is REALLY messing up the broodies and hatches out there.
The turkeys are official failures, I traded chicken eggs for the turkey eggs to check them this morning and one had pipped and died, the other is alright but I'm not leaving a loner out there...
I am really really glad to see a set of screamingly staggered hatches at the top of a thread. LOL.
I hatched three of three yesterday, two due Friday, three next week (failed broody), the preplacement eggs for the rest that should have been due Friday after that.
Then the eggs shipped today...
